I use many different media in my painting. My favoured combination is acrylic on canvas, frequently involving different art mediums that I mix with the paint. Much of my work also incorporates pastels, gouache, metal leaf and elements of collage with paper and found and recycled objects. Often a paintings begins with a photograph that I have taken, which I then interpret on to canvas.

My inspiration comes from what I see around me in my everyday life.  I love to travel, and can really appreciate the breathtaking scenery that Mother Nature provides.  Living in such a beautiful part of the world, I am heavily influenced by my surroundings: images, shapes and colours from nature are frequently evident in my work.

If you would like to enquire about any of the paintings, or to commission a new design,  please get in touch. Some of the images in the galleries can also be ordered as prints.
